Manuel Blasco, Minister of Tourism and Environment of the regional government, visited the capital of the Bajo/Baix Cinca region today.
The Minister of the Environment and Tourism for the Government of Aragon, Manuel Blasco, visited the city of Fraga this Tuesday. He first met with the mayor and several city council members in the administrative building, and then proceeded to the main building, where Blasco signed the city's guest book.
After his visit to the City Hall, the councilor visited the Ice Well and learned all the details and history of this Cultural Heritage Site (BIC) that was recently rehabilitated.
In his signature on the guestbook, Blasco has made “ a commitment to support the Fraga City Council in its main needs for the benefit of the people of Fraga .”
For his part, the mayor of Fraga, Ignacio Gramun, stated that “in our city we are working on different projects that will boost tourism, so I hope that during this term there will be great strides and progress in this field.”
Later, she attended the inauguration of the Regional Tourism and Youth Office at the headquarters of the Bajo/Baix Cinca Region, along with other local, regional, and provincial authorities. This new service began operating today. Also present at the event were representatives from Espacio Diseño , the firm behind the renovation project. Architect Sheila Castañ explained the different spaces, the furniture, and the layout of the new regional office.
