On an afternoon less than ideal for football, Osso gave their all in what was a match for their great captain, Miguel Baulas, who received a well-deserved send-off before the game. Both teams formed a guard of honor for him as he entered the field, and afterwards he received a plaque from the president and a commemorative jersey from coach Miguel Aribau and second captain Sergio Zapater.
After the tribute, the ball started rolling and Osso, who came out giving their all, didn't take long to score the first goal, 1-0, courtesy of Juanjo in the 2nd minute, after a great team move. The minutes ticked by and the game proceeded without major scares for the home side. In the 44th minute, Osso made it 2-0 from a corner through Bah, and that's how the first half ended.
The halftime break didn't do the home side any favors, and in the 59th minute, Pomar got back into the game with a penalty converted by Juan Miguel Velasco. A little later, in the 67th minute, Didac leveled the score at 2-2. Osso responded after the equalizer and tried to find the winning goal that had eluded them.
In the 90th minute, the biggest ovation of the afternoon came when Miguel Baulas was substituted for Aribau, who then scored the winning goal in the 9.5th minute to make it 3-2. After the final whistle, the farewells continued, with the players forming a circle in the middle of the field with the captain in the center, before tossing him in the air.
