The municipal swimming pools in La Estacada will reopen their upstairs bar this summer season, according to the Fraga Town Hall. The season will begin, also in Miralsot, on Sunday, June 9th and will end on Sunday, September 1st.
To restart this service, which was one of the current government team's priorities regarding these sports facilities, the Sports Department has carried out tasks such as repainting walls, changing the flooring, preparing the terrace, and renovating the kitchen, furniture, and electrical elements. Currently, the final details of the work are being completed so that the bar can be operational from the start of the season, the council has commented.
The Councillor for Sports, David Casanova, stated that his department "set a clear objective: to reopen the pool bar." "After a great deal of work, we have succeeded in making the bar a reality once again. After practically renovating it and putting its operation out to tender, we can now say that this summer season we will once again be able to enjoy the pool bar at La Estacada de Fraga," the councillor celebrated.
Water activities
This summer, the La Estacada swimming pools will also host aquatic activities. From July 1st to 19th and from August 1st to 22nd, children's swimming lessons and aqua aerobics classes will be held. Pre-registration will take place from June 1st to 20th for the first dates and from July 1st to 21st for the second. The lists of accepted participants will be published on June 21st and July 22nd, and payment can be made from June 21st to 27th and from July 22nd to 30th, either in person or online through the website fraga.i2a.es/CronosWeb.
To access the website, users must first register. Minors can register as primary users (ID required) or as beneficiary users of a parent or legal guardian (the primary user must register first).
Any user who may qualify for any type of discount or specific rate, as established in Tax Ordinance 2.11 (youth card, under 14 years of age, large family, etc…), must present supporting documentation, either through this website (in the 'My account' section and then in the 'My personal documents' subsection) or in person at the municipal swimming pools.
Regarding the online payment method, both registration and payment for the course will be done from the 'Activities' section.
