A rally is planned for 19pm on Friday, June 28th in several regional capitals.
The teacher quotas proposed by the Government of Aragon for the next academic year have sparked complaints from unions and parent-teacher associations (PTAs) throughout the region. The regional Minister of Education, Claudia Pérez Forniés, has indicated that they are working on " creating a more uniform system that requires reorganization ." However, the proposal has failed to convince several sectors, who describe it as "cuts in education."
Dozens of Parents' Associations (AMPAS) and Family Associations (AFAS) in the province of Huesca have issued a joint statement and called for a unified day of protest to make " a public complaint regarding the scheduling of quotas for the 24/25 school year ."

Specifically, in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region , according to the AMYPAS signatories of the statement, the following centers would be affected :
- CEIP María Moliner (Fraga): 3,5 fewer teachers
- CEIP San Juan Bautista (Zaidín): 2 fewer teachers
- CEIP Miguel Servet (Fraga) 3,75 fewer teachers
A joint protest has been called in several regional capitals, at 19 p.m. today, Friday, June 28. In Fraga, the gathering will take place in Plaza San Salvador.
