The Councillor for Economic Development, Javier Catalán, explains that “this is a powerful and useful initiative that will promote shopping in local businesses” with almost 35.000 euros in discounts.
The City Council approved a budget allocation of €20.000 at Thursday's plenary session to enable local businesses to participate in the 'Volveremos' (We Will Return) program. This program, which originated in Zaragoza during the pandemic, was relaunched this July in the three provincial capitals and the towns of Utebo and Cuarte de Huerva. The initiative will reach Fraga next September and, through an agreement between the City Council and the Government of Aragon, will inject €34.675,86 into local businesses.
'Volveremos' is a consumer incentive campaign that operates through a mobile app. Thanks to this app, purchases at participating businesses generate a refund that can be used as a discount voucher at other establishments in participating municipalities throughout Aragon.

“The mobile application has a very intuitive design and is very easy to use through QR codes, so I want to invite all businesses in Fraga to join 'Volveremos' and, of course, for residents to use these discount vouchers when they go shopping,” said the councilor.
