The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 2nd at 20:00 pm at the entrance to the Town Hall, as published by the Fraga City Council.
The Fraga City Council will join the demonstrations called by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) next Wednesday, September 2nd, as a show of solidarity and support for the Autonomous City of Ceuta.
The gathering will take place at 8:00 p.m. in front of the Fraga Town Hall , according to the council.
The call comes from the FEMP, which has called on municipalities throughout Spain to gather simultaneously on September 2, Ceuta Day, at 8:00 p.m. , as a gesture of support for the citizens of Ceuta.
The initiative was announced by the president of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), María José García-Pelayo, following her visit to Ceuta and a meeting with its president, Juan Vivas. The federation is organizing these demonstrations as a show of solidarity from Spanish municipalities with Ceuta in light of the current situation in the city.
The Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) has indicated that the initiative aims to convey the support of Spanish municipalities to Ceuta and to assert its status as a Spanish and European city. Furthermore, García-Pelayo has proposed bringing Ceuta's situation to the attention of European institutions.
