The mayor of Fraga, Ignacio Gramún, has held meetings with prominent members of the Government of Aragon to address various needs and crucial projects for the city.
Rehabilitation of the CEIP San José de Calasanz school: Working session with Councilor Claudia Pérez
In an initial working session, Gramún met with Claudia Pérez, the Minister of Education, Science, and Universities of the Government of Aragon, to discuss the renovation of the former CEIP San José de Calasanz school building. The meeting, held in Zaragoza, addressed the preliminary design of the project, the educational programs offered, and the building's potential uses. The training needs expressed by the business, educational, and social sectors of Fraga were also conveyed. The renovation, with an approximate cost of three million euros, is supported by a grant of 1,8 million euros from the European Union's Next Generation EU funds. The preliminary design includes aesthetic and functional improvements, energy efficiency enhancements, and the redevelopment of the surrounding area.
Fraga Health Centre: Meeting with Councillor José Luis Bancalero
Meanwhile, Mayor Gramún, accompanied by Councilor for Health Ángel Cabrera, met with the Minister of Health for the Government of Aragon, José Luis Bancalero, to discuss the needs of the Fraga health center. During the meeting, they requested improvements to equipment and infrastructure to optimize care for residents of Fraga and the surrounding area. After the meeting, Gramún highlighted the positive attitude of the Minister and the new government team toward improving healthcare in the region. Furthermore, Bancalero pledged to visit the center to assess its current condition.
These meetings underscore the necessary collaboration between the Fraga City Council and the Government of Aragon to address important projects and improve essential services in the city.
