The youth teams of Mequinenza and Sobrarbe faced off this past Saturday at the 'Las Rías' field. In an attacking play, the home team scored a goal after a foul on the visiting goalkeeper that the referee failed to call.
When play resumed, Mequinenza allowed the visiting team to reach the goal and score. As the coach of the team from Bajo/Baix Cinca, Luis Viu, pointed out, this was a perfect example of fair play and sportsmanship.
