This Thursday, August 8th, the competition will begin on 8 fields throughout the province
After months of preparation, the Diputación Cup finally kicks off this Thursday. This tournament is a joint initiative of the Huesca Provincial Council and the Aragonese Football Federation.
The tournament will be played at local football grounds using the traditional cup format with single-elimination matches from the round of 16 onwards. This means it's all or nothing. No one can hold anything back for the second leg because there isn't one. The goal for all the teams is to reach the grand final, which will be played at the Alcoraz football stadium at the end of August.
Entry to the matches is free and there will also be raffles and gifts for the attending public.
The competition has 10.000 euros in cash prizes: 4.000 for first place, 3.000 for second, 2.000 euros for third and 1.000 for fourth.
