The local television station has announced this change in broadcasting to comply with legal regulations.
According to the channel's director, Jorge Larroya, this change will allow for higher quality broadcasting. Furthermore, it fulfills the legal requirement to switch off SD television signals before February 12, 2024.
According to Digital Fraga TV, the broadcast will initially continue on the same channel, without requiring any changes to home installations. However, some older receivers may not receive the signal well. If retuning the television does not result in the new HD channel appearing, those experiencing problems should contact qualified technicians.
Digital Fraga TV is a private television channel and has been broadcasting in Fraga and some other municipalities in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region for several years.
