The media outlet surpasses 300.000 unique users on Instagram for the first time, and, including the website and other social media, exceeds 350.000 users and is approaching 2,5 million monthly views.
Two million. That's the new milestone that Diario del Bajo Cinca has just surpassed on Instagram: 2.007.653 views in the last 30 days and more than 300.000 users reached . This marks the first time the publication has exceeded two million views on this social network, a figure achieved amidst significant audience growth and a new record for the monthly reach of our content.
Specifically, Instagram statistics show 309.424 unique users in the last month. This figure is in addition to the audience of our website and the other social media platforms where Diario del Bajo Cinca has a presence. In total, more than 350.000 users have accessed our content during this period , while the total volume is approaching 2,5 million views.
These are the best records achieved so far by a project that was born with a very specific objective: to offer daily information about Fraga and the entire Bajo/Baix Cinca region and, of course, to ensure that the news of the region had an ever greater presence on the internet and on social networks.
Four out of ten views come from new users
Instagram data also shows that the posts are circulating far beyond our own community of followers. 40,7% of views come from people who don't yet follow Diario del Bajo Cinca , while the remaining 59,3% come from followers of the account.
This is a significant percentage, considering that our DNA is that of a local media outlet. News about our towns, their residents, sports clubs, associations, businesses, institutions, and activities reaches hundreds of thousands of people every month, including many who were not previously part of our regular audience.
Furthermore, another great piece of news is that the growth isn't concentrated in a single age group. The largest group on Instagram is the 45-54 age bracket, representing 24% of the audience , followed closely by users aged 35-44, who make up 23,1%, and those aged 25-34, with 21,6%. Profiles of users aged 55-64 account for another 14,6%, and those over 65 reach 9,3%.
An audience that already far exceeds the borders of the region
The vast majority of users are still in Spain, which accounts for 96,7% of Instagram's audience . However, our content also reaches readers in Italy, Argentina, France, and Chile, among other countries.
The new record comes after several months in which Diario del Bajo Cinca has successively surpassed its previous best records for followers, reach, and views. First came 5.000 followers on Instagram, then 6.000 and 7.000. Now the next leap is measured in millions of views and hundreds of thousands of users.
