Instagram is the platform where I've grown the most since this project was launched two and a half years ago.
Diario del Bajo Cinca continues to consolidate its organic growth as a leading source of news for the region. Its Instagram profile recently surpassed 9.000 followers , a new milestone that reflects the trust thousands of readers place in local news every day.
In the last month alone, this social media account has registered 1,7 million views , reaching more than 107.000 unique accounts , figures that highlight the growing interest in information about the Bajo/Baix Cinca region both within and outside the area.
The distribution of followers confirms the project's strong local roots. Fraga accounts for approximately 39% of the community, followed by Zaragoza (4%) , Lleida (3,7%) , Mequinenza (3,6%), and Barcelona (3,4%) , demonstrating that local news also generates interest in other cities and provinces. In addition to follower figures, the reach of the posts on this social network extends to cities throughout Spain and even to countries in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe.
This growth isn't limited to Instagram. The WhatsApp news channel has already surpassed 700 followers , who receive news directly on their phones , while the Facebook community boasts over 1.700 followers and continues to grow steadily. In addition, Diario del Bajo Cinca maintains a presence on TikTok and LinkedIn , platforms through which it continues to expand its reach.
Collectively, all of the media outlet's social media channels generate well over two million monthly impressions and reach more than 150.000 unique users each month , solidifying a news model based on immediacy, accessibility, and a commitment to current events in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region, with a strong impact on digital platforms.
