A man was arrested on Sunday, July 7, for attacking his parents with a knife in the town of Benasque. According to several media outlets, the mother was airlifted to the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza, but her life is not in danger. The father was taken to the hospital in Barbastro.
The town's mayor, Manuel Mora, confirmed to the press that the family is originally from Fraga and was there on vacation, as they usually attend a chess tournament held in the town every year.
