The Civil Guard has arrested two people and is investigating two others for the theft of various items worth €22.000 belonging to a company in Binéfar.
Officers from the Civil Guard station in Binéfar have arrested two people suspected of stealing metal objects from a company in the town. They have also investigated one person as an alleged accomplice to the theft, and another for alleged document forgery.
On March 14th, the Civil Guard received a report at the Binéfar Civil Guard station from the manager of a local company regarding the theft of various metal objects from the water treatment plant area of the establishment. The company had suffered a previous theft in February. The value of the stolen items is approximately €22.000.
Following the investigations and inquiries carried out by the agents to clarify the facts, they were able to find out that the stolen items were deposited in a waste management center.
On March 18, officers from the Binéfar Civil Guard station arrested two people as suspected perpetrators of a theft. A third person was subsequently investigated as a suspected accomplice. The detainees are two men, aged 32 and 22, and the woman under investigation is 34 years old; all are residents of the Bajo Cinca region.
Finally, on March 21, agents from the Civil Guard station in Binefar investigated another person as the perpetrator of a possible crime of document falsification by preparing invoices to third parties, who had never deposited material in the company under investigation, being a 41-year-old man, resident of the Bajo Cinca region.
The proceedings, conducted by the Civil Guard station in Binéfar, were handed over to the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 1 of Monzón (Huesca), with the detainees being released on bail and the investigated parties summoned when the competent authority deems it appropriate.
