The offenders posted videos and photographs on social media taken during their visit to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, bathing in several pools with two dogs that were off-leash.
Agents from the SEPRONA Detachment of Ordesa and Monte Perdido of the Huesca Civil Guard Command, have reported two people for bathing in the vicinity of the “Cola de Caballo” waterfall and one of the pools of the “Gradas del Soaso”, as well as failing to comply with the prohibition of introducing dogs off the leash, both in the pools and in the “circo de Soaso” itself, all according to the regulations included in the PRUG of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, not using the mandatory muzzle, according to the regulations Law 50/99 of potentially dangerous animals.
On August 26, the Civil Guard became aware, through social media, of videos and images posted showing a group of three people who, on August 23, had visited the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park accompanied by two dogs. The videos showed them bathing in several pools in the park with the dogs off-leash and not wearing muzzles.
Following investigations by SEPRONA agents in Ordesa and Monte Perdido, two individuals were located and identified, and three reports were filed against each of them for the incidents. Throughout this summer, the SEPRONA detachment in Ordesa and Monte Perdido, part of the Huesca Civil Guard Command, has filed a total of seven reports for similar incidents, which have been publicized on social media.
The influencer has been identified and criticized on social media by a large number of users. Lola Mencía, known online as @Martadelolaes, has 612.000 followers on Instagram, has accumulated over 19.000 likes on this video, and nearly 2.500 comments, most of them criticizing her actions. Lola Mencía is a former contestant on Survivor and a participant on Temptation Island 3.
