The team coached by Jordi Capdevila has two games left to finish the regular season. They have already secured a place in the Final Four to decide the league champion, but it remains to be seen whether they will qualify as third or fourth in the standings.
A week full of celebrations for the Esneca Fraga Skating Club after winning the WSE Champions League Women. They were received at the Fraga City Hall and in Zaragoza by the President of the Government of Aragon, Jorge Azcón. The Peña Fragatina football club paid tribute to them at their last match, and dozens of Fraga residents joined them in the parade and celebration in Plaza España on Sunday, May 5th. In addition, they received numerous messages and congratulations on social media over the past few days.
A historic moment for the club and a magical one for the players, coaching staff, and board of directors. But this season could become doubly historic if the team also manages to win the league title.
Qualification for the final four is guaranteed. CP Fraga is currently in third place with 53 points , one point ahead of Vila-Sana. With two matches remaining, Esneca's team cannot reach second place, currently held by Telecable HC with 61 points, but they can solidify their third-place position. If they do, they would face Gijón in the playoffs, while Vila-Sana would once again meet Palau de Plegamans, who are in first place with 67 points.
