The acquisition was approved at the plenary session of the Regional Council on Thursday, May 16.
The purchase will involve an investment of €180.000 , an amount that can be applied thanks to a future budget modification, now that these have been unlocked, as the regional entity indicated in a press release.
The Bajo/Baix Cinca district held an extraordinary plenary session yesterday, Thursday, May 16. During the session, the council approved a proposal to acquire rural land valued at €180.000 for the construction of an organic waste composting plant in the municipality of Fraga . The proposal passed with votes in favor from the PP, Entre Todos Baix Cinca, and VOX parties. The PSOE and Tu Aragón parties voted against it.
On the other hand, the regional entity also approved eliminating the night shift for urban waste collection workers and the allocation of the Sunday bonus, with votes in favor from the Popular Party, Entre Todos Bajo Cinca, PSOE and VOX, and the abstention of Tú Aragón.
The Socialist Party's claim to the 2024 budget was also dismissed , with votes in favor from the PP and Entre Todos Baix Cinca, abstentions from Tu Aragón and Vox, and a vote against from the PSOE.
