The club held an open day to mark the Cinca Descent and will continue with activities in the autumn.
Last Saturday, August 24, the Fraga Whitewater Canal was filled with life, light and color with the more than 50 slalom paddlers who came from different parts of Spain, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Cinca Descent.
Among paddlers, family members and spectators, the activity organized by Club Caic Baix Cinca brought together more than 150 people, enjoying the technical training, promotion, initiation and the great spectacle of the eskimo roll competition, in the children's and veterans' categories.

It was a spectacular display of agility and skill as they maneuvered their canoes in record time. After the competition, they moved to the lower part of the river to continue the open day for slalom, introducing more children and adults to the sport and showing them how to get started.
Caiac Baix Cinca would like to express their joy and enthusiasm that, despite the canal not being in good condition and not much water entering, they were able to move forward with the proposal made by Comarca del Bajo/Baix Cinca for the Cinca Descent.
Now it's time to continue with the canoeing course and the organization will work on improving the canal this autumn-winter.
