The Fraga team has sent a report showing the good results of the athletes from Bajo/Baix Cinca in the tournament held on Saturday, January 20th.
Six fighters from the city of Fraga traveled to the GBF International Cup of contact sports, along with their coach, Sergio Morales. Competing in Kick Light were Sara Bakkioui (-18 years and -50 kg), Leo Sorolla (-18 years and -80 kg), Marc Martos (-18 years and -65 kg), Álvaro Casanova (-18 years and -65 kg), and Fatima Kerkouri (-18 years and -50 kg). Sara also competed in Kickboxing, and Iker Morales (-12 years and -40 kg) made his debut in the Children's Kick Light category.
The members of the Fraga Kickboxing Club performed well in their respective bouts and enjoyed a great morning of sport and tournaments. The Bajo/Baix Cinca team earned several podium finishes.
- Sara Bakkioui achieved a 1st place in Kick Light and a 2nd place in Kickboxing.
- Mar Martos achieved 1st place in her category
- Álvaro Casanova achieved 2nd place in his competition
- Leo Sorolla also achieved a 2nd place in his group
The competition was organized by FIDAM (International Federation of Martial Arts) and was held in the municipality of Aitona (Lleida).
The Fraga team finished the day with good feelings and a desire to continue training and improving for upcoming competitions.
