Some residents of Bajo/Baix Cinca have shared their experiences of the end of the season through social media.
An unmistakable sign of the end of summer is undoubtedly the closure of municipal swimming pools, and this week, several of these public facilities will bid farewell to the bathing season.
August ends this week; Sunday will be September 1st, and some residents of our region have already bid farewell to the swimming season via social media. One example is the residents of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús nursing home , who are finishing their summer pool sessions this week. However, they will soon be returning to aquatic activities at the indoor pools in Fraga, as they themselves announced in their Instagram post, which included this charming video.
Fraga will close its doors this Sunday, September 1st, and will reopen the heated swimming pools the following day, Monday the 2nd.
On the other hand, Jovial Adventure has announced a farewell party for its Summer Sports and Adventure Camp , with all the participants from the past two months. There will be music, snacks, and a great time to say goodbye to the summer with the children and parents who have accompanied them this season, on Friday, August 30th, at 12 noon.
In some municipalities, such as Torrente de Cinca , the swimming pools are scheduled to close on September 8th, extending the swimming season by a few days. In some villages, like Chalamera, the season may even be extended further , depending on the temperatures in the coming weeks. " If it's warm, we'll consider keeping the facilities open a few days beyond the 8th ," they commented.
