Mini boys, junior and pre-mini girls complete the few victories of a demanding day for the youth academy
It was a busy weekend at the Peña Fragatina Basketball Club 's youth academy , with the men's first team, Alufema CB Peña Fragatina , having a bye. The spotlight in the senior category fell on the women's team, who faced another double-header, both of which ended in a draw.
On Saturday, the Fraga team lost at home to CE Maristes 37-58 in a match that became difficult from the start. However, on Sunday they managed to bounce back with a decisive 33-62 victory away at CB Calaf, which evened the score for the weekend.
At the youth level, there were three successes. The boys' mini team secured a solid away victory against Força Lleida (53-77), the boys' junior team triumphed on the court of CB Torrefarrera (53-58), and the girls' premini team added another win at home after defeating Força Lleida (41-22).
The remaining matches resulted in defeats for the Fraga teams. The girls' under-14 team lost away to Força Lleida (46-38), the girls' under-14 team lost at home to CB Torregrossa (55-59), and the boys' under-14 team fell to CB Cervera (60-64). In the under-16 category, both teams faced two matches without securing any points: the girls' under-16 team lost to CB Bellpuig (59-61) and then again away to CB Calaf (70-45), while the boys' under-16 team lost to Sedis (98-42) and CB Balaguer (53-76). The day concluded with the girls' under-12 team losing to CB Cervera (36-71).
