The Provincial Council improves seven barracks in the province, including the one in Belver de Cinca
The Provincial Council's 2024 budget allocated €100.000 for the Civil Guard barracks repair and renovation plan, but a budget amendment was approved in the March plenary session to add an additional €73.000. This fulfills the commitment made by the President of the Provincial Council of Huesca (DPH), Isaac Claver, to Lieutenant Colonel José Enrique Cordobés, commander of the Huesca Civil Guard, to increase investment in barracks repairs.
At the Belver de Cinca Barracks , 16.500 euros will be allocated for waterproofing the building and renewing water channels and downpipes.
The Provincial Council of Huesca's (DPH) 2024 Plan for the Repair and Renovation of Civil Guard Barracks includes a total of €173.000 for improvements to seven barracks in the province. Last week, the President of the DPH, Isaac Claver, visited the Monzón barracks, where he stated, “We are committed to the Civil Guard and the important work they do and the security they provide to our entire province. That is why we want to invest in their facilities so they can carry out their duties in the best possible way. Furthermore, to improve the security of our territory, we will use new digital and technological tools, and for this reason, we are working on a Territorial Security Plan that will allow us to install video surveillance systems to combat crime in rural areas .”
