Last December, the Fraga plant received the Plant of the Year award in the Large Plants category from BD, one of the most prestigious awards within the Company, which is only open to those that present exceptional results.
The Fraga plant has won this award three times: 2006, 2020 and 2023. This demonstrates the capacity and good work of this company's production in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region.
Along with the Fraga plant, BD has two other plants in Spain, one in San Agustín del Guadalix and another in Almaraz. A fourth plant is currently under construction in Zaragoza.
In Fraga, sterile single-use devices are manufactured (such as syringes, hypodermic and safety needles, and pre-filled saline syringes). Currently, more than 800 employees of 17 different nationalities work at the plant in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region, making it possible to manufacture 6.000 billion units each year, 96% of which are exported to various parts of the world.
As can be read in the publication, the director of the plant in Fraga, Leticia Navarro, has indicated how proud they are of the work done, maintaining high standards of safety and sustainability.
