The traditional distribution of bread, eggs, and sardines took place on Easter Monday.
Without a doubt, Ballobar is one of the municipalities in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region most committed to preserving its local traditions. Yesterday, Easter Monday, Ballobar celebrated its traditional pilgrimage to the hermitage of San Roque. Groups of people organize themselves into floats and travel up the mountain on tractors and trailers. A mass is also held, and the fields are blessed for a bountiful harvest.
The event, once again, saw a large turnout and participation from the residents of the municipality, who enjoyed the day and the good weather.
