Traditional Aragonese music, song, and dance will once again take center stage in Ballobar with the "United by the Jota" gala , organized by the Rondalla Virgen de Loreto. The event will be held next Sunday, June 7th, at 19:00 PM in the town's Multipurpose Hall and will bring together many members of the Ballobar-based group on stage.
The event originated as a cultural showcase and community gathering where the members of the rondalla (a traditional Spanish musical group) can display the work and skills they have acquired throughout the year. During the gala, artists associated with the group will participate in singing, dancing, and musical performance, offering the public a representation of Aragonese folklore and the deep-rooted tradition of the jota (a traditional Aragonese dance) in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region.
