The organizers indicate that hundreds of residents of Fraga participated in the organized activities.
The reception in Fraga for the 3x3 football tournament, Zumba, the Country Festival, the Solidarity Concert and the Bible Festival against Bullying has been excellent, according to the Bajo Cinca Bible Church and the Decision Association, the organizing entities of the events.
According to a press release, the social volunteer work carried out in two city parks, including environmental restoration, was very well received by the residents of Fraga. All these activities clearly reflect the identity of the evangelical community worldwide: a people committed to promoting peace, coexistence, and Christian values.
The conference, organized by the Decision Association and the Bajo Cinca Bible Church on Aragón Street in Fuengirola, brought together 54 young evangelicals from various parts of Spain and abroad. It served to normalize and promote the integration of the evangelical Christian community in the city. According to the organizers, residents of Fraga witnessed the participants, wearing their yellow t-shirts, sharing their values and beliefs in a friendly and constructive manner.
The rain didn't stop the Country Festival from taking place, which drew many young people and adults eager to line dance and hear the testimony of the group of Americans participating in the event. They explained why they had come to Fraga and had paid for their travel and accommodation expenses altruistically, as had the rest of the participants. They did so to demonstrate, in a practical and simple way, the love that Jesus placed in their hearts when they had a personal encounter with him.
According to them, today anyone can have the same experience that filled their lives with peace, hope, and purpose. At all the activities, participants gave away colorful bracelets. Each color has a meaning that summarizes the teachings of Jesus Christ, the good news of God's love for a broken world. Mayor José Ignacio was the first to receive a bracelet. Father José María also received one and wore it the day he showed the volunteers around the parish of San Pedro and thanked Pastor Víctor Ramírez of the Biblical Church for organizing the event, according to the statement from the Decision Association.
The "Fraga Amiga" event officially concluded on Wednesday at 19:00 p.m. The organizers expressed their satisfaction with the collaboration of the Fraga City Council and the Cancer Association, who supported their activities and facilitated their service to the residents of Fraga.
