The City Council of the capital of the Bajo/Baix Cinca region has released the data from the latest analysis by EsPúblico.
The Fraga City Council maintains its accounts in excellent financial health, according to the latest report on the municipality's financial situation published by EsPúblico, a platform specializing in content for public administration. The study awards the municipality's economic management the highest possible rating , placing the council in a position of budgetary solidity marked by a debt of 0,00% and a savings capacity of 17,74%, figures that exceed the average for the province of Huesca and the rest of Spain.
The report concludes that Fraga has a short-term solvency ratio of 613,51% , a figure higher than the provincial average of 533,79% and the national average of 461,53%. This operating margin guarantees the local administration ample capacity to meet its payment obligations to suppliers and contractors without needing to resort to external borrowing.
Regarding the tax burden, the analysis reflects an indicator of 669,54 euros per inhabitant , placing it below the provincial average of 792,82 euros and the national average of 701,00 euros, which reflects a contained tax burden for the residents.
The mayor of Fraga, Ignacio Gramún, stated that “during this term, we have worked with a clear objective: to improve municipal facilities and public services while trying to contain the tax burden already borne by our residents.” “Fraga’s tax burden is lower than the Spanish average and significantly lower than the provincial average, a truly revealing fact that, together with the city’s excellent employment figures, gives us reason to be proud of the current economic climate and the work being done,” the mayor concluded.
