ASAPME Huesca opens center in Fraga

ASAPME mental health

On June 24th, ASAPME Huesca, the Huesca Association for Mental Health, celebrates its 30th anniversary with the inauguration of a new facility in Fraga.

This is a Day Center recently contracted with the Aragonese Health Service, although the entity has been providing its services in the area for 17 years.

Since its creation in 1994, ASAPME Huesca has aimed to improve the quality of life of people with mental illness and their families, through the creation of community resources capable of meeting their needs and offering comprehensive health and social care, which also serves as a benchmark in the field of Mental Health.

This Day Center in Fraga, along with the opening of a supervised apartment for the Barbastro Sector, has been the latest milestone achieved by the entity, which already manages a Day Center in Monzón.

The entity's already consolidated trajectory in this period of time has translated into the services it provides both in Huesca capital and in the rural environment, always putting the visibility of the need in Mental Health at the forefront and trying to decentralize resources.

The services it currently provides are:

  • Community Social Support Service
  • Day Center Service
  • Employment Placement Service
  • Supervised Floor
  • Social Awareness Program
