In this edition, the program will have the participation of 268 students and 24 accompanying teachers from 10 schools in the Bajo Cinca region.
The Bajo/Baix Cinca region has launched the school ski campaign for the educational centers of Bajo/Baix Cinca, for which, on this occasion, a grant of €32.400 has been requested from the Provincial Council of Huesca, through which the management of the financing is transferred to the regions through the “Provincial Agreement Plan for the realization of the 2024 school ski campaign by the regions of the province of Huesca”.
This year, 10 schools will participate, two of them rural grouped schools (CRA), with a total of 268 students and 24 accompanying teachers. In this edition, participation has increased by about 20% compared to 2023, and a new educational center has also joined the program, this being the first secondary school to participate.
The program will begin next week with the participation of the María Quintana de Mequinenza and CRA ALBEOS schools, the first to start the activities, which will take place throughout the weeks of January and February and will end with the last educational center in the first week of March.
The school ski campaign takes different educational centers to enjoy alpine skiing and other complementary activities over the course of a week, from Monday to Friday, in the ski resorts of the Huesca Pyrenees, in packages that include in addition to the 5 days of skiing, accommodation and food, transfers, insurance, access to the resort, equipment rental, courses and parallel activities.
