On Saturday, January 13th, the municipal radio station, owned by the Fraga City Council, celebrates its 67th anniversary. To mark this occasion, a special program of Versión Original, hosted by Emilio Rubio, will be broadcast.
Radio Fraga began broadcasting on Medium Wave on January 13, 1957, at the initiative of brothers José and Francisco Piñol Fenosa. It has broadcast on FM since 1967. It was initially part of the Cadena de
Union-owned stations, later becoming part of Radio Cadena Española and subsequently Radio Nacional de España after the arrival of democracy. Following the closure of RNE Fraga in 1991, it resumed operations as the municipal station of the Fraga City Council in 1992, and has been broadcasting continuously ever since.
