The organizers of the descent have prepared parallel activities together with associations and entities in the region.
The new edition of the International Descent of the Cinca River, an event firmly established as one of the highlights of the region's sporting and tourist calendar, will take place next Sunday, August 25th. This day promises a perfect combination of fun, nature, and activities for all ages, both for participants and spectators.
To mark the 25th Anniversary, in addition to the competition, the organizers have prepared a series of parallel activities for the whole family. Young children can participate in educational workshops and recreational activities, while adults can relax and enjoy the natural scenery surrounding the Cinca River.
Among the highlights for August 25th are the "Following the Canoes" Mountain Bike Ride , a route along the riverside paths that will conclude in Torrente de Cinca; the Torrente de Cinca Bikerun , a walking route starting at the Torrente Town Hall and ending at the riverside refreshment area; an athletic run along the river from Fraga to Torrente de Cinca, accompanying the participants; a fun family day with a performance and entertainment by a brass band; the "Cinca Descent" Photo Rally , a digital photography contest where participants can capture the highlights of the Descent; and a contest for the best outfit and costume among the general public.
In addition, children will enjoy inflatables in the finish area, located next to the Vora Riu Room, and will be able to meet the mascot of the International Descent of the Cinca, greet it and take a picture with it.
