The program of events for 'La Asunción' 2024 is packed with live music
The municipality of Zaidín has prepared one of the most comprehensive programs in the Bajo/Baix Cinca region, with activities for all ages. Live music will once again have its place in this year's Fiestas Mayores (main festival), with different formats and for all audiences.
Two dance orchestras are scheduled for this year's 'La Asunción' celebrations. On Thursday, August 15th, there will be two performances by the Orquesta Melodía , and on Saturday the 17th, Orquesta La Verbena will also perform two sets.
In the cover band section, this year La Tropical will perform with their cheerful music and unstoppable rhythms on Wednesday the 14th; on Friday the 16th, a legendary group like Hotel Cochambre will take to the stage of the Zaidín Festival, reviewing the best pop-rock hits from the 70s to today.
One of this year's new features will be the Mariachi Imperial Group on Friday the 16th, in a continuous session that will fill the square with corridos, rancheras and Mexican dance music.
Of course, the traveling version of live music is a must. Two brass bands will get the young and not-so-young of the town jumping and dancing: Charanga El Somontano will kick things off on Wednesday the 14th, and on Saturday the 17th it will be Charanga El Pincho 's turn.
In addition to this entire musical program, there is the rest of the programming with DJs and a mobile disco, the trailer , and more than 30 activities scheduled from August 14th to 18th at the La Asunción Festival in Zaidín.
