Juan Cobos' charity marathon will take him to Valencia in December to raise funds in the fight against childhood cancer.
A week ago, we shared, through our Instagram channel, the interview with this Civil Guard officer residing in Fraga, where he explained the project of the association Todos Somos Iván , which raises funds for research and the fight against childhood cancer.
Cobos has launched a project to raise €1 for every meter of the more than 42.000 that make up the Valencia Marathon, which he will run on December 1st. After we published his interview on our social media profiles, donations have increased by more than €150, and he has already raised €1.646. There are still more than 170 days until the race, and as Juan pointed out, raising the €42.000 goal is very difficult, but " Everything we raise will be very good, because it will all go towards the fight against childhood cancer ."

Juan Cobos is an amateur runner who aims to give meaning to every step, every meter, every race bib, for a good cause. He is an ambassador for the association TODOS SOMOS IVAN (We Are All IVAN), in the fight against childhood cancer. He is a representative of the Civil Guard's Victims of Terrorism Team. He is a member of the Fraga Athletics Club (Huesca) and a member of the Civil Guard in the province of Huesca.
The "We Are All Iván" Association was founded in 2017 in memory of Iván Pulido Pellón . Iván was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, one of the most aggressive childhood cancers; a disease he fought tirelessly for months but sadly succumbed to in August 2016. He was a relentless fighter and never lost his will to live. He was a very special child.
One of Ivan's wishes was to do research in the fight against cancer, so that other children like him wouldn't have to go through the same thing… His legacy has been the foundation of this association.
