4 years since the State of Emergency: What were you doing at that time?

COVID-19

Four years have passed since the President of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, announced the State of Emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It seems like a long time has passed; four years can be a long time or a short time, it all depends on each person's perception. Undoubtedly, the coronavirus pandemic will be etched in the annals of contemporary history, an event that paralyzed the world and brought illness and even death.

Those memories of pavilions, masks, hand sanitizer, social distancing, lockdowns, regulations, vaccines... seem far away. And it seems that those applauses on balconies, those messages of "We will come out stronger", "It will make us better", also seem far away.

Some remember those times working, on the front lines, others in isolation, and even in solitude. There are families who couldn't say goodbye to their loved ones, workers who, despite fear and uncertainty, never failed in their duties and commitment. Stories and moments of brave people and, of course, of cowardly ones.

Today we want to ask: Where were you when the state of emergency was declared? Tell us, here or on our social media:
